Entertainment and singing was led by Mr Tambourine Man on the ukulele ably accompanied by Mr Sticks on the large set of drums. A good time was had by all and plans are already in place for next year. Photos to follow.

A new design of notice board was delivered and installed at the Connect Centre in Wells. The centre co-ordinator was exceptionally pleased and the boards were immediately in use.

This year we had a table and sale in the Heritage Tent at The Shepton Show, where we were able to display items that had been made in the shed. These included such things as hedgehog hotels, walking sticks, key rings, house name signs etc. We also had enquiries about joining the shed and these have been followed up by visits to see what we do.

Renovations at The Strode Almhouses
Space Age Rabbit Hutch

Almshouses Chairman, Jeff Curtis and Vice-chair, Sandra Freeborn have represented the Charity to give a huge “thank you” to Jonathan Fowle and all at the Shepton Men’s Shed for their work in renovating storage units at the Strode Almshouses.
With so much expenditure on the residences little was left over to repair ancillary buildings but over the past weeks our wonderful “Men’s shed” have stepped into the breech and performed this vital work. We would like to acknowledge their enormous assistance and say how lucky we are to be able to call on this fine body of Men. Thank you so very much.
